Delete Duplicate Photos:
Getting Started with
Duplicate Photo Cleaner

Dear Duplicate Photo Cleaner Fan,

This is Mike Summers, WebMinds’ Product Manager. In this email I'll show you how to get started with Duplicate Photo Cleaner.

Running a scan for duplicate photos using Duplicate Photo Cleaner is very easy:

1. Open Duplicate Photo Cleaner and drag & drop the folders you want to scan to the scan area. You can also click inside that area and browse your folders using Windows Explorer/Mac Finder

2. When you are done adding folders, click on the Start button to start the scan. By default, Duplicate Photo Cleaner will scan for both true duplicates and similar images

3. When the search is complete, you will be presented with its summary. To start managing duplicates, click on the Go Fix Them! button

4. You will be able to compare photos side by side using the Multi Viewer and decide whether you want to move or delete the duplicates. You can view the similarity level for each pair to help you make your decision.

As you can see, scanning your computer for duplicate photos couldn't be any easier!

That’s it for now. I’ll cover more Duplicate Photo Cleaner features in the next newsletter. Stay tuned!

Cheers,

Mike Summers
Product Manager
